About me and my passion
After obtaining my Fine Art degree, I stared a garden maintenance business in 2003 and went on to study for the diploma in Garden Design at Capel Manor College.
From my earliest recollection, I have always been happiest outdoors, among trees and plants. I care deeply about nature and the environment, and my practice is greatly influenced by the part we might play in optimising and sustaining the flora and fauna of our local eco-systems.
I think I have the best job in world. For years, I have been helping people realise the potential of their outside space and it’s always wonderful to see the transformative affect the new garden has on them.
Design
A full design service is available. I work closely with other garden professionals, tree surgeons, landscapers and garden maintenance companies.
The process begins with an initial consultation after which the site is analysed and a survey is drawn up. Once the brief is secured, a concept and outline plan are developed into the masterplan.
Reputable landscape contractors can then be invited to tender for the garden build. Project monitoring service is also offered.
Planting
Whether you think you require a full garden overhaul or a small front garden re-design, I can help with advice on all aspects of horticulture.
New planting schemes can be designed in-situ, existing plants rejuvenated and properly pruned and advice given on care of the planting throughout the seasons.
